900 DAGEN receives the Special Mention for the Magic Hour Award in Warsaw

The film 900 DAYS received the Special Mention for the Magic Hour
Award at the 9th Planete+ Doc Film Festival in Warsaw.
The jury praised the film of Jessica Gorter as „an impressive confrontation
of the heroic myth created by authorities for political purposes with
intimate memories of victims – all presented in intense and straight to the
point way."
900 Days presents an emotional picture of the struggle of the survivors of
the Leningrad Blockade during World War II. In the film, survivors of the
Leningrad Blockade during World War II finally dare to talk openly about
their personal memories.
Previously the film won the Diorapthe Award for Best Dutch
Documentary at IDFA, the Special Jury Prize for Long Documentary at
the ArtdokFest in Moskou and the Prix Interreligieux and Special
Mention van de Grand Prix at Visions du Réel in Nyon.
