900 DAGEN receives the Special Mention for the Magic Hour Award in Warsaw The film 900 DAYS received the Special Mention for the Magic Hour Award at the 9th Planete+ Doc Film Festival in Warsaw. The jury praised the film of Jessica Gorter as „an impressive confrontation of the heroic myth created by authorities for political purposes with intimate memories of victims – all presented in intense and straight to the point way." 900 Days presents an emotional picture of the struggle of the survivors of the Leningrad Blockade during World War II. In the film, survivors of the Leningrad Blockade during World War II finally dare to talk openly about their personal memories. Previously the film won the Diorapthe Award for Best Dutch Documentary at IDFA, the Special Jury Prize for Long Documentary at the ArtdokFest in Moskou and the Prix Interreligieux and Special Mention van de Grand Prix at Visions du Réel in Nyon. 900 DAYS is a Zeppers Film production in coproduction with IKON TV.
